Dominick Miserandino was the founder of the entertainment site TheCelebrityCafe.com the longest running entertainment magazine on the web. He brought it up to 300k uniques daily and conducted over 600 celebrity interviews. He has consulted on web business and analytics for The Wall Street Journal, Morgan Stanley, Hearst Publications, Scout, Viacom, Pubmatic, First Digital, AdoramaPix, Dow Jones and other major brands. Over the past 20 years he’s worked with well over 100 different web properties and consults with top tier digital publishers, e-commerce and app-based businesses. He successfully launched and sold dozens of websites over his career.
Dominick is immediate past president of the Press Club of Long Island and lectures about web businesses and analytics at Hofstra University, Stony Brook, NYU and other local colleges. He’s the author of the forthcoming definitive book on web publishing, “Herding the Feral Cats of the Internet: How to run an online business and make money.”
He is conversational in Italian, Spanish, French and Sicilian and has handled media in those languages. He’s the recipient of awards from SPJ (Volunteer of the Month/Chapter of the Month), Stony Brook University for Charity Work, 40 Under 40 and a New York State Citation Award. His hobbies are being a musician and a photographer.
