Biography

Dominick Miserandino is a three-time internet CEO, specializing in the online publishing space. He founded one of the first online publications: TheCelebrityCafe.com.

Most recently, he was the CEO of Inquisitr.com. Since taking the helm, he has overseen a company-wide reorganization that has increased profitability and has taken the site in new, exciting directions. He’s also served as CMO for Adorama Pix and Director of Internet for Bigfoot Media. Dominick has worked as a consultant for eCommerce and publishing for the Wall Street Journal, Morgan Stanley, Hearst Publications, Scout, NASA, Goldman Sachs, and other major brands. Over the past 20 years, he’s worked with more than 100 different web properties and consulted with top-tier digital publishers, e-commerce and app-based businesses, in addition to authoring two travel books.

Dominick is a past president of the Press Club of Long Island and lectures about web businesses and analytics at Hofstra University, Stony Brook, NYU and other local colleges.

He is conversational in Italian, Spanish, French and Sicilian and has handled media in those languages. He’s the recipient of awards from SPJ (Volunteer of the Month/Chapter of the Month), Stony Brook University for Charity Work, 40 Under 40 and a New York State Citation Award. His hobbies are being a musician and a photographer.
