Biography

Dominick Miserandino is a six-time internet CEO specializing in digital publishing, e-commerce, and online media. He is currently the CEO of RTMnexus. Previously, as CEO of RetailWire, he led a 24-fold increase in monthly traffic, growing the publication from approximately 50,000 to 1.2 million monthly visitors while significantly expanding its industry presence.

Dominick founded one of the internet’s early online publications, TheCelebrityCafe.com, and later helped grow Inquisitr.com from launch to more than 80 million monthly visits. Throughout his career, he has also served as Chief Marketing Officer for AdoramaPix and held Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Executive Officer positions at several other organizations.

Over the past 30 years, Dominick has led the turnaround and growth of more than 100 digital publishing and e-commerce businesses while advising more than 200 startups on strategy, operations, revenue growth, and organizational development. As a consultant, he has worked with organizations including The Wall Street Journal, Morgan Stanley, Hearst, Scout, NASA, Goldman Sachs, and numerous other leading brands. During his career, he has worked with more than 100 web properties and authored two travel books.

A frequent speaker at industry conferences and corporate events, Dominick presents on entrepreneurship, digital publishing, e-commerce, media, audience growth, and scaling online businesses. He has also served as a mentor to more than 100 startup companies.

Dominick is a past president of the Press Club of Long Island and has lectured on digital business, analytics, and entrepreneurship at Hofstra University, Stony Brook University, New York University, and other colleges.

He is conversational in Italian, Spanish, French, and Sicilian and has conducted media interviews in those languages. His honors include awards from the Society of Professional Journalists (Volunteer of the Month and Chapter of the Month), Stony Brook University for community service, the 40 Under 40 Award, and a New York State Citation Award. Outside of work, he enjoys music, photography, and travel.
